Common questions
How quickly should I bring in a water-damaged phone?
Within 24 hours, ideally within 6. Corrosion starts within minutes of water hitting the board — the faster we ultrasonic-clean it, the higher the chance of a full save. Don't try to charge it in the meantime.
Should I put my wet phone in rice?
No. Rice does almost nothing and delays proper cleaning. Power the phone off, don't charge it, and get it to us as soon as you can.
How much does water damage repair cost?
Free to diagnose. If it only needs a clean, R499. If it needs a battery or charging port after the clean, R899–R1,499. Board-level micro-soldering is quoted after diagnosis, usually R1,500–R3,000.
What if the phone can't be saved?
You pay nothing. We give you a free data-recovery attempt and a trade-in offer against a replacement so you're not left stranded.
